Driver Behaviour and Training Conference

Conference scope

Building on the first three highly successful events held in Stratford upon Avon in 2003, Edinburgh in 2005 and Dublin in 2007 the International Conference in Driver Behaviour and Training 2009 aims to debate new initiatives in the scientific enquiry of road user behaviour, education and training from an academic and practitioner perspective. As with previous years, the fourth conference is expected to attract a high calibre of speakers from many academic institutions and road safety groups across the world.

The Conference '09

The Fourth International Conference on Driver Behaviour and Training offers a platform that builds on the highly successful first, second and third conferences in which dozens of countries have contributed their perspective and experiences of road safety issues. The conference is unique because it considers not only recent advances in the study of driving behaviour and training from an academic view but also the important role that practitioners play in the implementation of driver training and educational methods.
